[November 2025] News from The Wellness Engineer

When I began this personal mission a few years ago, my vision was simple: to help people like you rediscover your body’s natural ability to heal.

Since then, I’ve helped many people release pain, reclaim energy, and begin to feel like themselves again through small, mindful shifts that have calmed the nervous system and helped their brain to unlearn pain.

But I know there are still so many of you who are on your way there. And I want that for you, too.

That’s my vision... and my commitment to you.

To keep sharing that the brain can unlearn pain and that living pain-free is possible.

Maybe you already know that.

Maybe you just needed the reminder today. 🧡

Here's what's coming up in November with The Wellness Engineer:

In this workshop, Dr. Rollin McCraty will guide you through heart-brain coherence practices and HRV biofeedback which can help break persistent pain-and-stress cycles so you can begin to reshape how your nervous system responds to pain.

Recipe of the Month

Gluten-Free Teriyaki Chicken with Broccoli

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons grapeseed oil

  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces

  • 6 cups fresh broccoli florets (16 oz.)

  • ½ cup lower-sodium tamari

  • 4 tablespoons pineapple juice

  • 3 tablespoons honey (or less!)

  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar

  • 4 teaspoons grated garlic

  • 4 teaspoons cornstarch

  • 2 teaspoons grated fresh ginger

  • 4 cups of cooked rice

  • ½ cup thinly sliced scallions

  • 2 teaspoons toasted sesame seeds

Directions:

  1. Heat oil in a large skillet over high heat.

  2. Add chicken; cook, stirring often, until browned and mostly cooked, about 6 minutes.

  3. Add broccoli; cook, stirring often, until bright green and tender, about 5 minutes.

  4. Meanwhile, stir together tamari, pineapple juice, honey, vinegar, garlic, cornstarch and ginger in a small bowl.

  5. Add the tamari mixture to the chicken mixture in the pan.

  6. Cook over high heat, stirring constantly, until the liquid is thickened and the mixture is glazed, about 20 seconds.

  7. Remove from heat. Serve the chicken mixture over rice; sprinkle evenly with scallions and sesame seeds. Enjoy!
